A stop at the "Maison du Fromage" allows visitors to understand all the special features of the Abondance cheese.
From grazing cows in the meadows and alpine pastures to the cheese platter of Savoy, going through the stages of manufacture, your senses will be awakened!
A sensory walk guides you in 9 steps : mountain landscapes, gestures, techniques ... for a playful, scientific and sensory visit.
Extend your discovery of Savoie cheese at the local produce shop!
OPENING HOURS
• From 18th December 2018 au 30th April 2019, open Monday to Saturday from 9.30am to 12pm and from 2pm to 5:30pm.
• From 1st May to 30th September 2019, open everyday from 9.30am to 12pm and from 2pm to 6pm, except on Sunday morning.
• From 1st October to 16th November 2019, open Monday to Saturday from 9.30am to 12pm and from 2pm to 5:30pm.
PRICES
Adult € 5, reduced price € 4 (families, students, people with disabilities, job seekers), free for children under 8 years old.
Tasting supplement: € 2.50 per person.
Supplement commented visit: adult 2,50 €. 6-18 years 2 €, free for children under 6 years old.
Duet ticket with the Abbey: from 8 years € 7.50 (free visits).
Free visit in summer with the Multipass card (visit with tasting: extra € 2.50).
Groups welcome by reservation every day ; from 10 to 50 people.
