MOUTAIN BIKE RIDES

There are many mountain bike rides through the territory. 

It is possible to reach the Geneva Lake from Thollon or Bernex via the Gavot plateau or to follow the Dranse river between Châtel and Abondance. You can also reach the  Portes du Soleil area from La Chapelle d'Abondance or Châtel to benefit from Europe's largest mountain bike area and do cross country or downhill mountain biking.

Possible to return by bus with the "Colombus" and "Evian-stations" shuttles. Bikes are hitched to the back of buses.

Downhill MTB / Bike Park

Bernex

The Bike park is accessible by chairlift from Pré-Richard. It has 5 tracks: 1 green , 1 blue, 1 red and 2 black.
Open weekends from  mid-june and everyday in July and August.
Adults € 15 ; children less than 14 years € 10.

Châtel

The Châtel mountain bike park offers 20 tracks located at Pré-la-Joux. They are accessible by the chairlift. With 9 black tracks, 4 red, 4 blue and 3 green, the area is rather dedicated to mountain bike experts.
With a Portes du Soleil skipass, you can take the lifts and reach the bike parks of Avoriaz, Morzine, Les Gets or Champéry-Morgins.
Open on June 16^th & 17^th and everyday from June 20^th to the September 2^nd.

Electric MTB

Electric mountain biking is developing in the Portes du Soleil resorts. A special marking signals the dedicated tours. To enjoy long rides, relay points are set up to recover a charged battery for your bike.
To practice mountain bike, you have to measure at least 1m50, the wheels of the bikes being in adults size.
