From the walk near to villages, riverside or lakeside, to mountain hiking, the possibilities to enjoy your leisure are multiple and adress all. More than 60 pedestrian ways are marked.
In many villages, follow thematic trails and take the time to walk by learning and playing on various subjects: historic path in Evian, Anne de Noailles way in Publier, Maravant path in Larringes, Birds way in Châtel... Information available in the Tourist information offices.
Hiking is certainly the best way to discover the natural heritage and mountain traditions of our region.

Documents gathering the different hiking trails are on sale in Tourist information offices of the region.
You can hike alone or with a mountain guide. Adapted shoes are necessary. For more security, watch carefully the weather conditions. A IGN TOP 25 hiking map is also the best guarantee of good mountain orientation.

The office gathers 15 professionals with the national certificate of mountain guide. Outings are proposed all year round and different according the season: themed trails, snowshoes walk, mountain bike, adapted hiking for parasports, flora and fauna discovery, kayak, Geopark discovery, astronomy, culinary plants, orientation trails, tales and legends...
