Single or two seater kayaking and canoeing for beginners, stand up paddle, sea kayak, rafting, riverboarding and airboat trips on the river (Les Dranses). State registered instructors. Boat hire. Canoeing and kayaking base open to all aged eight upwards.
French Canoeing and kayaking Federation 3* Club and also holds the Point Canoë Nature label.

APALLf  (French  Lake  Geneva Association  of  Amateur Fishermen): fishing is very popular on Lake Geneva (perch, roach, trout, ferra, char fish and pike). Angling without a permit is authorised from a section of the quayside. Other sorts of fishing (spin fishing, dragnet fishing etc) require permits. Daily, weekly or seasonal permits on sale.

Opening from March to early October. Many possibilities between to watercourse and mountain lakes. River fishing requires a departmental or national license with departmental seal.

- Lac des Plagnes ("Plagnes lake") accessible by car from Abondance
- Lac de Fontaine  ("Fontaine lake") accessible by car from Vacheresse
- Lac de Tavaneuse ("Tavaneuse lake") accessible after two hours by walk (1805m)
- Lac d'Arvouin ("Arvouin lake") half hour by walk from the chalets of Sevan, La Chapelle d'Abondance
