Bonnevaux is a small mountain village located on the slopes of "Col du Corbier". The village is ideally located, away from major traffic flows but at the crossroads of two major tourist valleys of Chablais.
The village extends on 782 hectares including 209 hectares of communal forest. The village centre is 910 meters above sea level.
Populated by 265 inhabitants, Bonnevaux wants to continue to exist and live. An inn opened in May 2018 : "Oberge de Bounavô".
Activities & sightseeing
The playground located near the old dairy is a place of : games for children from 2 to 14 years, boules pitch, picnic area with disabled access, playground of 600 m² open to all kinds of sport or recreational activities.
Bonnevaux is also a tourist village with an inn, several cottages, a holiday centre with swimming pool, tennis court, football field and a unique environment in the valley. Hiking trails make it possible to reach Mont Ouzon or join the Ouzon pasture. It is possible to buy farm cheeses during the summer at this pasture, or on the road to the Corbier pass. Bonnevaux, it is finally a flowery village which appears each year in the list of the county contest of the flowered villages.
